Who I Work With

Four situations I know deeply.

If one of these sounds like you, I have likely walked a client through it before.

The Growing Family

Good income. Growing family. Still not sure you’re doing the right things.

Dual income, equity compensation, two kids, a mortgage, and accounts that have never been looked at together. I coordinate the 401(k)s, RSUs, and savings into one plan, fund education accounts with the right structure for your timeline, and put foundational estate documents in place. You end up with a plan that actually matches what you’re building.

The High-Earning Professional

You’ve done well. The tax exposure keeps you up at night.

Significant equity compensation, deferred comp, and real concentration risk you’ve been putting off. I build a multi-year plan that works to manage the tax exposure at each stage and redirects that capital into a diversified portfolio built for the long term. The goal is to move from dependent on one stock and one employer toward greater financial resilience, though outcomes depend on markets and your circumstances.

The Retirement and Legacy Client

Significant assets. No clear picture of what comes next.

Decades of accumulated wealth and a real desire to enjoy what you’ve built without second-guessing every decision. I build a retirement income strategy, a giving plan that reflects your values, and coordinate with your CPA and estate attorney to restructure how your wealth is held. You get the confidence to spend without guilt and plan for the next generation knowing everything is structured to support it.

The Business Owner

The business is your biggest asset. It’s also your biggest concentration risk.

Most of your net worth is tied to the company and there is no exit or transition plan yet. I build a personal financial plan that stands on its own outside the business, stress-test your retirement picture across multiple exit scenarios, and coordinate with your attorney on ownership structure and estate implications. Your personal financial life stops depending on a transaction that might not happen on your timeline.

Services

How I help.

Coordinated financial planning aims to do two things: make use of the resources you have and give you a clearer picture of what you have built.

I coordinate your full financial picture across tax, investments, retirement, and estate planning. I work through it with you so you stay actively engaged and informed without carrying the complexity alone. The goal is planning for the life you want today and the future you're building toward.

Employer Specializations

Specialized strategies for your employer.

Your benefits package is its own planning problem. I work inside the specific plans, equity programs, and deadlines your employer sets.

FAQ

Frequently asked about working with Alex.

The clients I work with best are usually at an inflection point: a significant income jump, a business sale, a growing family, equity compensation that's getting complicated, or a realization that they've been too busy to give their finances the attention they deserve. If you have the income and complexity but not the time or expertise to manage it well, that's when I tend to add the most value.

The aim of comprehensive planning is to capture more opportunities and leave fewer dollars on the table, with a financial structure that keeps pace with your life. Outcomes depend on markets and your circumstances, and no approach removes investment risk. I work across investments, taxes, retirement, insurance, estate planning, and cash flow as one integrated strategy so nothing important falls through the cracks and you can focus on living well, not managing complexity.

There is no minimum account size. I work with clients in two ways: “Financial Planning and Investment Management” priced as an asset-based advisory fee tied to household advisory assets under LPL's platform, or “Financial Planning Only” with a fixed quarterly fee. After our initial meetings I'll walk you through both options and we'll determine the right fit together.

I work with clients in two ways: financial planning combined with investment management priced as an asset-based advisory fee on household advisory assets through LPL's platform, or financial planning only priced as a fixed quarterly fee. The exact rate depends on the size and complexity of your situation. I'll walk through both options with you in our initial meetings.
